About

Nicole Flaherty, LICSW

Between managing our unique struggles, living through aftermath of a worldwide pandemic, and social media comparison, anxiety and depression can often leave us feeling stuck. However, when we take away the outside noise, return to our roots, and look closely at the beauty of nature around us, we can see evidence of hope. After all, even in the darkest and roughest soils, seeds can bloom into beauty. You too, can heal, no matter your circumstances.

After receiving my Master’s Degree in Social Work from Springfield College, I had the opportunity to work with clients at a psychiatric inpatient unit for children and adolescents. For the last three years, I have been working in outpatient therapy with a wide variety of clients from children to older adults, working together to address a variety of issues and diagnoses. Although I am equipped and excited to help clients with whatever struggles they desire to address, my niche is helping adolescents and young adults find freedom from anxiety and depression. At this time, I am exclusively offering my services online over Telehealth, so clients can rest in the comfort of their own homes as we dive into discussing whatever is on their mind.

Through mutual conversations and respect, we will develop unique toolsets to manage feelings of anxiety and depression and find purpose in your relationships, work, spirituality, and all other identified areas of life. No matter your experiences, I will always assure you that you can find freedom from emotional struggles and bloom into who you want to be.

Armed with a gentle presence and ready laugh, I aim to help clients feel excited about the process of working together and the change our conversations can create!
